Abstract

This paperwork explains the steps needed to design and engineer some bodywork components of a GT car, starting from the aerodynamic surface. It mainly focuses on the tolerances and plybook needed to produce components. The tolerances are explained to better understand why they are used and which one is better in each case. Also, it analyzes the phase of production of carbon fiber, used to reduce the weight of the bodywork panel, from the creation of the spool to the lamination phase. The design and engineering part explains every step needed to produce every component, starting from the aerodynamic surface to the freezing of the part, analyzing the fixing needed and every aspect to homologate the component.
