Integrating electronic signature into contract management software

Digital transformation is a critical factor in the success of modern businesses. This study conducts an in-depth analysis of the digital transformation process within a Supermarket Chain, conceptualized as the incorporation of an electronic signature tool, SignBook Zucchetti into a retail contractual software, Active Demand by Bookmark S.r.l. The research examines the Supermarket Chain’s motivations for adopting an electronic signature and explores its technical implementation. It includes a meticulous review of relevant Italian and EU legislative acts and an assessment of the solution’s compliance with these requirements. Furthermore, a comparative analysis of the implemented solution with other similar systems in the market is included. The study concludes that the solution not only satisfies legislative requirements but also aligns with common approaches in the digital transformation field.
