      Abstract
The increasing amount of waste, which may cause severe economic and environmental consequences, needs to be properly managed by communities and governments. Therefore, it is necessary to have master plans aimed at decreasing waste generation and mitigating its impacts. This thesis deals with construction and demolition waste (CDW) and focuses in particular on circular methods for a proper management of CWD. To deepen the analysis, building information modelling (BIM) is introduced, with a particular focus on a BIM-integrated method employed for measuring the circularity level in buildings. In this method the circularity is measured in a numeric way through the REVIT software and a case study is presented therein for a better understanding.
