Brexit:"To be, or not to be?" The decade long question concerning Britain's culture and European identity

The objective of this thesis is to analyse and study the reasons behind Brexit and to understand what people who actually live in the UK think about the present situation. In the first part, the propaganda of leavers' campaign is analysed, whereas the second part is dedicated to depict what present UK is like. In the third part, it is possible to find a description of five possible future economic scenarios, while the last part is entirely dedicated to the answers that interviewed people gave to a set of questions concerning economy, migration and the future of the UK.
