Preliminary Step Towards the EN-ZH Lyrics Singable Adaptation

This thesis has explored the complex and multifaceted process of computer-assisted interlanguage singable adaptation of rhyming texts, with a particular focus on the challenges and opportunities presented by the adaptation of English and Chinese lyrics. The study has aimed to address the significant linguistic and rhythmic differences between these two languages while maintaining the singability and cultural authenticity of the adapted texts. Through the development of a comprehensive theoretical framework and technical approach, this research has provided new insights into the field of cross-lingual music text adaptation.
