Abstract

Structural health monitoring of the civil structures performed using a FBG optic fiber strain detector paired with a designed and developed strain amplifier, used for the reading of small value of strain that could not be detected, or difficult to read. Structural monitoring during the time, of the frequency, to see damages and loss of stiffness. Laboratory test performed on a real scale bridge model, and a designed and built beam, to verify the results obtained from the FEM model analysis.
