Abstract
In recent years, the interest in artificial intelligence within the field of industrial automation has significantly increased. The growing demand for automatic machines requires an adaptation of industrial production systems to meet increasingly advanced and specific tasks. This thesis specifically focuses on the study and implementation of techniques and algorithms used for the autonomous navigation of groups of magnetic levitation robots integrated into a new automatic machine developed by IMA S.p.A.. The approach involves offline trajectory planning techniques and runtime algorithms implemented on PLCs.
