Abstract

The dissertation deals with the structural design of a new office building in Mirandola. The construction, made of concrete and steel, requires careful design, considering material properties, environmental conditions, and regulations, especially for seismic safety. Advanced computational models are then using to simulate the building’s response to seismic events, assessing force distribution, stiffness, and potential displacements. The design also takes into account surrounding conditions like foundation type, soil characteristics, and geology to minimize earthquake-related risks. This comprehensive approach ensures a resilient, safe, and sustainable building design.
