Abstract
The following document outlines the work carried out during the internship period by the graduate student Leonardo Regno at a consulting company as a project manager intern.
I undertook the internship during the second semester of my master’s degree program in Digital Transformation Management, totaling 262 hours. The objectives aimed at addressing the company's need to oversee the planning, monitoring, execution, and delivery of e-commerce projects. I closely collaborated with cross-functional teams, encompassing developers, logistics, marketers, and adminis-trators. My responsibilities entailed coordinating project timelines, managing resources, and ensuring all deliverables were met within the designated deadlines.
This thesis work deals with the technical knowledge acquired during the internship and the analytical study of the possible explorations in the field of business performance analytics.
The first chapter presents the project's administration phases from starting to conclusion. The second chapter outlines the company's context, its IT needs and characteristics, and potential analysis in the field of e-commerce performance improvement. The third and final chapter contains a retrospective evaluation of integrating technology, business analytics, and customer-centric strategies in navigating the ever-evolving landscape of modern commerce.
