Abstract
This Master's Degree thesis delves into the synergy between Digital Transformation, innovation, and Design Thinking within corporate settings, with a central focus on the practical application of these concepts. The primary objective is to uncover the profound utility of Design Thinking in the context of Digital Transformation initiatives, facilitating value creation.
Rather than adopting a purely theoretical approach, this research offers a holistic examination that blends theoretical and practical dimensions. It emphasizes the significance of a meticulously chosen case study, providing insights into the real-world application of these concepts and how they collectively drive value creation within contemporary business environments. With a comprehensive exploration of Design Thinking as a methodology and an in-depth analysis of innovation typologies, this thesis establishes a foundational understanding that sets the stage for the practical application of these concepts in a case study. Ultimately, this thesis illuminates the symbiotic relationship between Digital Transformation, innovation, and Design Thinking, accentuating their collective role in value creation within corporate landscapes.
