Abstract
Merely improving driving range does not satisfy the trend of technological development. Enhancing energy utilization is becoming the focal point. Additionally, ambient temperature and drive loads have a significant impact on electric vehicles, and these factors should be considered in the evaluation process of electric vehicles. For example, the reduction rate of range in cold winter conditions must be controlled within an acceptable scope. Energy flow analysis can clearly show energy utilization and dissipation, which can help engineers to understand vehicle energy utilization and proposing optimizations. This paper tested the E260 under different temperatures and driving cycles. After the test, the main systems and components were monitored and analyzed, and optimization suggestions were proposed.
