Abstract

Building construction has become more important in recent years because of the social, economic, and environmental impacts of buildings, as well as their economic nature and increased life quality. Sustainable construction has become more important because of the importance of building construction in sustainable development. Exploring concepts of sustainability in the construction and architectural sectors, such as sustainable design, architecture, and construction, and a complete definition as Building sustainability is of capital importance. The basic categories of architectural and construction sustainability are discussed. Environmental, social, economic, and technological challenges are grouped together in the building's sustainability features. There are several elements in each category. The traits listed are sustainability concepts and aims, and they are beneficial in achieving sustainability goals. buildings consume most nonrenewable resources. The current building construction challenge is to create cost-effective buildings that improve quality of life while reducing effects. Nowadays, the objective is to achieve sustainability in design and construction. There are various theoretical foundations, some of which do not appear to be applicable in practice. Architecture has various sustainability elements due to several features, architecture without sustainability as a serious challenge emerged following the technology revolution. To address issues, a sustainable strategy was developed and specified in the construction and architectural sector.
