Abstract
During the period of my experimental master’s degree thesis at the Nav-System S.p.A., three main topics have been addressed: first of all to evaluate the proprieties of all the polyurethane foam panels produced and assess these results with a view of improving the standards declared in the CE marking. After that, resistance and fire reaction have been tested by certified authorities in order to obtain improved evaluation classes of the panels. Eventually, a comparison between the two main suppliers of raw materials for the production of panels have been carried out with the purpose of determining which one might have better technical mechanical capabilities and might optimize the production process as well as the polyurethane foam panel’s proprieties.
